Make wood chips fly as spoons and spatulas come to life! Learn how to split, rough out and shape a freshly cut log using wedges, an axe, a carving knife, and a hook knife. Ample time will be spent practicing ergonomic axe carving techniques, which require endurance and patience to become comfortable with. Discussion will include form and function, finishing techniques, and tool sharpening. All levels welcome.
